so let me start by saying that i think overall the show was miles better this year than it was last year. that said, i had this faint sick feeling in my stomach during the whole show thanks to the news ryan seacrest broke during the red-carpet show on E! i don't know what to think about all that chrihanna drama, i just know i'm kinda heart-broken cuz i love me some lil c. breezy...
- here is what i thought of the big show -
j.hud is made of awesome. i adore her and i loved her performance. she had me in tears.
if i didn't already think M.I.A. was the dopest chick on the planet i would have after her performance last night. performing on your due date is damn near insane and kinda gangsta, lol. she wasn't kidding when she sang "hustle, hustle, hustle, grind, grind, grind". "swagga' like us" was the highlight of the night for me. her performance outfit was hot!
i think leona lewis got robbed. she should have atleast been nominated for the best new artist award if not won it.
carrie underwood's performance was good as usual. her album carnival ride was one of my favorites in '08.
i loved estelle & kanye. american boy is such a great song.
radiohead with the USC band was BANANAS! i wasn't expecting it to be that good.
katy perry was lame. i love taylor swift but i could have done without her and miley. same goes for the jo bros.
i wish ne-yo would have performed miss independent
